Therapeutic Art Mindfulness
to express, reflect, heal and feel better.
Life Happens.
None of us get through it unscathed.
And, we don’t have to go it alone.
If you find yourself isolating and feeling that you just aren’t sure where to go, or how to get help, but sense there is something just not right, you may have found your next step.
Our private and confidential, one-on-one sessions help you process and navigate any season of life you find yourself in. Perhaps you want to record and share an important time in your life, or perhaps you need support during a difficult time.
If something is keeping you up at night, reach out. Let me help you de-stress and get some clarity on how to sit through, then shift through, any issue, so you can find joy again.
Through a series of art exercises, talking (or not) and other modalities (different ideas and ways to solve a problem) we tackle each issue in an accepting and gentle way.
Even though we use art materials to help you get a ‘clear picture’ of what is going on, you don’t need to be artistic in any way…Promise!
No issue is too big or small. Sometimes, we all need a fellow traveler to guide, witness and support us.
01
– Step One –
The first point of contact
is usually a 15 minute free
consultation over the phone.
All points of contact and sessions
are strictly confidential.
02
– Step Two –
During our first session,
we get to know each other, determine if it’s a good fit,
while experiencing the process. No prior
art experience necessary.
03
– Step Three –
The journey begins.
Each session is tailor made with exercises
that help you resolve what you are working on.
We start with expressive creating,
then reflecting. Onward to our end goal—healing
and feeling better.

What is Therapeutic Art Mindfulness and How Can it Help Me?
“Therapeutic Art Mindfulness with Aliki came into my life at a difficult time following grief, job loss and extreme heartache.
I was feeling lost and very stuck when Aliki helped me navigate my way through darkness and into a better, more meaningful life.
Aliki has a vast amount of life experience which helps her easily relate to people.
Through tailored art exercises, asking questions that assist you in self-reflection and by offering practical tools she becomes a facilitator in guiding you to your purpose.
Aliki is a compassionate listener and a brilliant problem solver who can sift through the issues that keep you stuck. She taught me not to fear my internal world, but to examine it. By delving into the origins of what brings you joy and meaning (from as far back as childhood) you can live your dreams!
I now call myself an artist and earn a living teaching art as well as painting because Aliki supported me in excavating the lifelong desire of my heart.
Aliki has the incredible ability to help you target and explore the source of your discontent, heal your wounds and set you on the path that is right for you, while holding your hand in the process.
I am forever grateful that I found her Therapeutic Art Mindfulness Program!”

A Half Day Away Art Mindfulness Mini Workshop For Adults
Sunday Workshop Dates for 2024
It’s no secret that past generations knew the secret to living a joyful, connected life…creating in community with one another.
Join us for an invitation to relax, connect to self and others through community and like-minded people.
We will explore how art making (no art experienced needed) combined with mindfulness and guided dialogue can allow us to express our thoughts and feelings in an emotionally safe environment and how creating art can actually make you feel better! Please note, this is not a technique/skills based art class (eg: learning how to draw or paint), we simply use art materials to express ourselves.
“Wonderful class! Recommend this type of therapy to all ages. Thank you for sharing your gifts!”
“There was no specific outcome or right way to do the exercises—whatever I felt was fine. It was a fun experience, I’m glad I tried it.”
“I liked just being able to put something on paper with no judgement. It helped me express what I was feeling.”
“We used art to help us get in touch with our emotions and what we were experiencing.”
“The exercises really helped calm my nervous system when my hypervigilance kicked in.”
“I really felt welcome and knowing you had so much experience in this and were vulnerable too, felt really safe.”
“Really enjoyed making art that brought forth personal insight.”
“It was interesting how Aliki could tell me about myself, just by seeing my art.”
“This is exactly what I needed!”
“It wasn’t about what the product looked like, but rather the meaning that I read into it, as well as being about my journey and not something outside of me.”
“This has been transformative for me!”

Create & Chill
Join us for a rejuvenating way to close out your week at our Studio on the FIRST and THIRD Friday night, monthly.
You’re invited to immerse yourself in your own personal art project that you never seem to have time to do.
Here’s why it’s an experience you won’t want to miss:
Reclaim Your Creative Time:
As an artist, crafter or hobbyist, you’ve likely experienced the frustration of not having enough time to pursue your passion. Life’s demands can often push artistic endeavours to the back burner. This helps carve out a dedicated space for you to focus on your art, guilt-free.
Cultivate Joy and Connection:
Creating art in a supportive, communal setting can be incredibly fulfilling. A nurturing environment is provided, where you can share ideas, gain inspiration, and forge connections with others.
Escape the Social Media Trap:
We challenge you to assess how much time you spend on social media daily – it’s often more than you’d expect. Instead of scrolling through endless feeds, invest your precious hours in a meaningful, offline creative experience. It’s a chance to break free from digital distractions and reconnect with yourself and others.
This is your sanctuary to unplug, unwind and reconnect in a meaningful way.
Light refreshments will be served.

It’s not about the art looking a certain way. It’s the process that counts.
